Erasmus+ Mobility in Istanbul

Sunday 11 July 2021-Saturday 17 July 2021

On Sunday, after 2 hours journey by the aircraft, we arrived at the Turkish school Asimin Nesli Imam Ortaokulu . The Turkish families welcomed us warmly.

The next day, the headmaster and the Turkish school staff  welcomed us too, and guided us to the school. We, also, had the chance to taste a typical Turkish breakfast. Then we attended a seminar on healthy habits and food. After that, we travelled to the Kemerburgaz Forest for climbing up trees. Just perfect!!!

The next day we visited Agia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. We enjoyed the cultural visits. On Wednesday we worked at school. We made a poster and then we visit a famous Castle, near the Bosporus Sea. After that, we had lunch and we, also, went to an enormous Palace called Dolmabahce Palace. Later, we went up the Galata Tower with the panoramic view.

The next days, we visited the huge and beautiful Topkapi Palace, the Koc Muzesi, an old vehicles Museum and the Suleymaniye Mosque, On Friday evening, after a full day, we went on a Bosporus cruise and had dinner on board. After dinner, we took our certificates. On the last day, we had to go back to Greece.

The Greek teachers Georgia Christakopoulou and Manto Angelopoulou are very proud of their students Roel Bitsakou, Konsyantina Synadinou, Galani Koulouri and Konstantinos Bistas. The Turkish teachers and families were great in every aspect.
